Disney Land 2019

Disney Land!!
After driving to Panguitch, then driving to Vegas, we left for Disney Land and made it there Monday evening.  All 11 of us piled into one hotel room and we woke up Tuesday morning ready for Disney.

The cutest part of the trip was when Mickey kissed Indie's hand.  It was so cute!  And she has been talking about it ever since.  We waited in line to see him and took a picture and as we were walking out he took her hand and kissed it.  She giggled about it the rest of the day, and she says that Mickey thought she was Minnie - that's why he kissed her hand.  Since she was wearing her Minnie dress.  :)

Then we went to the bibbity bobbity boutique, and right when Indie walked in and saw all of those dresses she started getting undressed.  :)  I stopped her before she stripped down too much, and helped her try dresses on over her Minnie dress.  She loved them!  And I was so nervous that she was not going to leave the store without one of those $80 dresses.   Luckily she settled on the princess shoes and was fine with leaving behind the dresses.    But it was so cute!  She loved trying on all those pretty dresses.

We also somehow randomly ended up on mainstreet at just the right moment when they turned off all the lights and made it snow!
It was so fun!

Sailyr and Fin went on almost every ride!  Sailyr is brave and was up for ever ride this time, even the ones she thought was scary last time like space mountain and Indiana jones.  Fin went on most of them, but was still a little hesitant of the fast ones.  Me and Indie hung out and went on Winnie the pooh while the big kids were riding the rides that 3 year olds and pregnant people cant go on.
But we got our fill - pirates of the Caribbean, haunted mansion, its a small world, peter pan, …. we got all the classic rides in!

We love going with our fun grandma, aunt and cousins.  My kids had so much fun hanging out with family the whole day in Disney land.   Each of my kids have been doing chores to earn money, so they could do a little shopping in Disney.  Fin bought a baby bambi stuffed animal,  Sailyr bought some Minnie mouse earrings that are her December birthstone, and Indie of course bought her princess shoes.

And I cant end this post without documenting that I probably spent $100 on churros.  No joke.  I really did.  Sailyr, Indie and Finley tried them this year and fell in love with them.  So I bought each of them 2 or 3 churros.  Then me and Dev had 2 or 3 each, and I also bought all the cousins one - …. and at $5 a churro, I honestly think I spent $100 on them.  :)  Worth it.

Thanksgiving

We had such a great Thanksgiving week.  It's hard living so far away, but sometimes it's a blessing to be able to leave life behind and vacation for a week with family.  We stayed in panguitch for a few days before heading to Vegas.  While we were in panguitch we had jemma's bridal shower.  It was good to see so much family.  After getting to Vegas we made a quick road trip to Disneyland for a day.  We had never seen Disney at Christmas time.  So cute!  And we have the Disneyland system down with krystle's family.  No waiting in lines for us.  :)

The lights at night were so fun.  The 85 degree California sunshine about melted Devin and I.  But once the sun went down the weather was perfect.

We got back to Krystle's and Sailyr and Fin went swimming the whole time.  As well as so much fun cousin time and black Friday shopping.

Sailyr cried when we got home and said she missed her cousins.  My children are so blessed to have so much love.  Panguitch and Krystle's house were like one big party.  Cousins everywhere, yummy food, games, swimming.  I don't blame her for crying, I want to go back too.

Disney land!!

Disney land is just the best!!!  Isn't it?  We spent 2 days at Disney, and even after walking miles and miles and miles, i'm still so sad when its over.  This year both Sailyr and Fin were such perfect ages!  Sailyr remembered quite a few things from when we came two years ago, but Fin hardly remembered anything.  So it was fun taking them both now that they are a little older.  Sailyr was quite the thrill seeker this year and loved all the roller coasters.  She kept right up with her older cousins.  It was so fun to watch her screaming and giggling with her arms up, on the railroad rollercoaster.
And Fin is a little more timid still, but she went on just as many rides as Sailyr.  She went on splash mountain, and did great! Although i think her favorite was The little mermaid ride, or the tea cup ride.  It had rained the first morning we were there so the tea cup ride was closed until the 2nd day.  That was the ride Fin had been asking to go on, so im glad it opened.    One fun thing about this year was there was so many helping hands - which i thought i would be sad, not going on every ride with both girls.  But instead, i loved the one on one time i got with them.  Like when sailyr went on splash mountain (for like the 3rd time) with devin and her cousins, i took fin on winnie the poo.  Just me and her, it was the best!  Then we stopped in at a little shop and i bought her a cookie.
Going with Grandma and Krystle's fam was so much fun and so much easier. They helped so much with all 3 of my kids, and took us on a few rides that we probably would not have thought to go on.
Anyway, my family had the best time!! It was so so much fun!  At one point, after about 6 roller coasters, Sailyr was so giggly.  She was just laughing and giggling as we ran around the park.  It made me so happy!!  And our last night there Fin said "mom, that was the funnest!"  And little Indie did great too!  Poor girl was not feeling well our first few days in Vegas, so i was nervous as we were pushing her stroller into Disney Land on the first rainy morning.  But she started feeling better, took lots of good naps in the stroller, went on a few rides with us, and even got lots if attention from donald duck and pluto!
Disneyland is just the best, and i cant wait to go back next month!
(Haha!! Just kidding Dev!)
